After finishing higher education in 2001 I started working as a graphic designer at Stip Grafische Producties. I was a founding partner in two different companies in 1999 and 2004. These companies still exist today. From 2003 till 2007 I studied at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (HKU). Did my internship at Studio Dumbar Rotterdam, working on some of the biggest clients in the Netherlands. Completed my BA with honors in Digital Media Design. I started working at online studio Onstuimig Amersfoort. Two years in I setup my own one-man studio. While freelancing I was part of an international team of developers. After a year I discovered I wanted to be part of a team that was bigger than one designer. Which I found in 2010 at my current employer, Flow design + communicatie, in Utrecht.

By being naturally curious, persistent and working hard I consider myself a digital Renaissance Man. Practicing perfection with tools like Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. Speaking languages like HTML, CSS, some PHP and Javascript. Communicating with clients and colleagues in person or via tools like Trello and Basecamp. And showing that the proof is in the pudding with Invision, Flinto and After Effects.
